Our professional care team at the Courtyard of Loveland consists of people who bring their compassion and skills to enable our residents to be well cared for, comforatble, and happy.

JoAnne Gattoni, M.B.A., N.H.A.

Director

"It is a privilege to be a part of the Courtyard of Loveland Assisted Living. Having worked in health care and senior care for more than 30 years,I have no qualms in stating that the Courtyard of Loveland is unique and personable. It is refreshing to hear the laughs of the residents, experience the camaraderie of our staff with residents, and the nourishing atmosphere we create daily."

JoAnne was born in Canada but lived most of her life in Southern California. She loves the beach and often vacations to areas where there is salty water. JoAnne and her husband moved to Colorado in 1996. She returned to college and received her bachelors’ degree from the University of Northern Colorado and my Masters Degree in Health Care Administration 10 years later. She is a licensed nursing home and assisted living administrator.

She loves spending time with the residents and their families. "This has truly enriched my life!" she says, "I married my high school sweetheart 35 years ago and we have two grown children; Lea and John. I also love spending time with family and friends. The outdoor lifestyle in Colorado has been a perfect fit for our family. We enjoy hiking, fishing, camping and boating."

Lynne HernandezLynne Hernandez, M.A.

Staff Coordinator

Lynne has had more than 15 years of experience in the medical field before coming to the Courtyard in 2008. She began her career at the Courtyard of Loveland as a personal care provider and quality medication administration personnel. Within one year, Lynne was offered the opportunity to venture into coordinating staffing.

As staff coordinator, her primary responsibilities involve training, verifying staff credentials, making sure physicians and allied health professionals are up to date on their certifications, and ensuring that a healthcare facility meets accreditation standards. Lynne enjoys working with the senior population because she likes to get to know our residents and learn about their life stories. She loves spending time with her two teenage sons and her family.

carol jones Carol Jones

Activities Coordinator

Carol has been an energetic and vivacious addition to the Courtyard since December 2012. She earned a Bachelors degree in Journalism, with an emphasis in Public Relations from the University of Wyoming. A Wyomingite by heart, Carol is now having to adjust to life as a Coloradoan. She has vast experience in planning events and activities for all ages, coordinating volunteers and working with people.

Before moving to Colorado, she held a position as the Activities Director at the Eppson Center for Seniors in Laramie, Wyoming. The residents have continuously given Carol wonderful reviews saying, “She is spirited and passionate about her job.” She truly enjoys enriching the lives of the Courtyard residents and always brings a positive and enthusiastic attitude with her to work each morning.

SharonSharon Webb

Bookkeeper

Sharon worked in both public and private accounting sectors for over 15 years before joining the Courtyard staff in August 2011.She earned her Bachelor degree in Accounting from the University of Houston – Clear Lake. Sharon works mainly offsite, but you will find her in and about the Courtyard facility every week. She enjoys working with the seniors, as well as their families.

While she is not working on the Courtyard books, she is busy being a wife and mom of two middle school-aged kids. In her free time, Sharon loves spending time with her family, reading a good book, playing with her two dogs…and kickboxing!

EmileeEmily Olson, R.N., B.S.N.

Nurse Manager

Emilee has worked in wide variety of clinical setting ranging from hospitals to clinics as well as a school nurse for Larimer County School district. Emilee’s nursing career choice is due in large part to her love of her paternal grandmother who was an incredibly wise woman with a very caring heart. “I very much desired to emulate my grandmother.”

For over nine years, Emilee has provided healthcare oversight for our residents as well provide her leadership and clinical skills to ensure our staff is knowledgeable and equipped to provide quality care. Her empathetic approach and genuine love for the elderly as well as her age and life experiences has helped Emilee understand the emotions that come with aging and helping residents and families with what can sometimes be a difficult transition.

JackJack Miller

Maintenance Director

Jack worked in professional sales and service of modular homes before he joined the Courtyard team in March of 2009. He is truly a “jack of all trades” and works mostly behind the scenes around the facility. There isn’t anything he can’t fix.

Jack grew up on a farm in Nebraska where he grew to love tinkering with old cars and motorcycles. In his free time, he enjoys fishing and hunting, and spending time with his wife, children and two grandchildren. Jack’s favorite part about working here at the courtyard is spending time with the residents. He likes being around the senior population and says, “They definitely keep me busy!”

AlyciaAlycia Erickson, BSW

Office Manager, Admin. Assistant

Alycia joined the Courtyard in February 2015 and recently finished her Bachelor's degree in Social Work.  Alycia has a strong passion for working with older adults and is excited to be a part of the Courtyard!

Alycia began her journey at the Courtyard as a Social Services intern, and immediately fell in love with the facility. "As soon as I walked in these doors, I knew I wanted to stay with the Courtyard as long as possible," she says.  "The staff and residents here are just wonderful and I am so happy that I get to continue my journey here!"

KyleKyle Kirkpatrick

Dietary Manager, Chef

Kyle joined the Courtyard team in December of 2013. He started as a part-time cook and is now our Head Chef.  Kyle has a great sense of humor and is always open to new ideas for recipes and dishes.
