Memories in the Making

Shirley Frank

Alzheimer’s Association Memories in the Making® (MIM) is an art program for individuals with Alzheimer’s disease or related dementias that brings comfort and joy through the process of creating watercolors. Even after people with dementia have lost the ability to use words, they are often able to express thoughts and emotions through painting.
