Here at the Courtyard, we believe that an active lifestyle is essential to maintaining both mental health, and overall happiness. Participation in meaningful activities has been shown to buffer against depression, a common risk in senior care living. So does exercise, which improves mobility and helps overall health. Engaging activities offer cognitive and social stimulation and lessen feelings of loneliness. Our life enrichment activity schedule is carefully planned to cater to the individual needs of each of our residents, and contains fun and unique choices.

Gracious assisted living that offers comprehensive services and ample amenities for residents at the Courtyard of Loveland. 

Therapy

On site Physical, Occupational and Speech therapy is available as an integral part of helping residents maintain a healthy lifestyle and is designed to meet their specific needs through education and treatment for pain and/or movement issues.

Rooms

Residents furnish and decorate their own rooms to individual taste. Free WiFi internet and local digital television channels are basic services in each room. Private cable television and telephone services are available at the resident's request.

Wander Guard

Residents who are at risk of wandering are monitored with our unique Wander Guard system that allows complete freedom while in the facility or while they enjoy our beautiful large fenced yard area decorated with amazing flowers, plants, trees and a vegetable garden.

Meals

Flavorful and nutritious meals are chef prepared from scratch in our state of art kitchen. Our delicious home cooked meals using fresh ingredients are served 3 times a day. Our signature hydration program is designed to ensure residents stay hydrated along with snacks provided to their rooms three times a day.

Activity

The Courtyard of Loveland has a dedicated Activity Coordinator whose planned activity and art therapy programs ensure each resident has an opportunity to participate in a variety of meaningful activities that enrich the mind, body, and spirit. Or, if a resident prefers, they can curl up with a good book or take a brisk walk in our large outdoor protected yard space.

We fully recognize the special delicate nutritional demands or our residents and are committed to providing nutrient rich meals that are not only flavorful and appealing to the senses but meals that are also balance, low in fat and sodium and sugar.

We understand that the aging process provides some obstacles that can challenge a senior’s ability to taste, smell and digest food properly. We address these issues by developing a dietary program that encourages and facilitates good nutrition by accommodating food choices to meet everyone’s palate. Plus, eating with others has been shown to improve social functioning which can foster a sense of belonging and friendship.

Our goal is to allow each resident to indulge in delectable, wholesome meals in an inviting family dining environment.
